Internship Opportunity With Martin Marietta

We are seeking a college intern to join our Supply Chain team at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC. This role will provide an opportunity to contribute towards key projects and analysis that are important to our business. Contributions include coordination of small projects, leading project tasks, documenting processes, providing ad-hoc analysis, and supporting efforts to build and maintain business processes, systems, and data. Subject matter experts will provide guidance to help resolve complex problems. This exciting internship is part of a growing supply chain team which includes business analytics, business performance improvement, procurement, and other key business functions.

Responsibilities :

• Support department leaders to drive projects to completion.
• Work with teams to define project charters and develop project timelines / plans.
• Lead small projects focused on process development, improvement, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving needs.
• Identify best practices, define and document processes, and develop solutions to challenges.
• Implement process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and / or variations from established policy that drive advancements for the company.
• Conduct quantitative data analysis and interpretation of key performance measures to inform improvement priorities and business decisions.
• Perform all activities in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values, and in compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and code of ethical business conduct.
