Job description
A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to address legal issues related to reforestation projects globally.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on global forest project developments and operations, including structuring and financing
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and regulations in international practices
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, and manage legal disputes as necessary
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
5+ years of experience in project finance or development related to forestry or real estate
Strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with land tenure and rights related to project sites
Ability to manage multiple legal matters concurrently
