We are a mostly in-person startup, but we are also flexible – you can usually work from home when you need to and come in and leave when you want to. Many employees work from home on average 1 day a week.

Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Director of Operations to help Yupp scale with excellence. The ideal candidate will have senior management experience in a fast growing high tech startup. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop robust solutions that help the company run smoothly. You will work closely with leadership to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes.

Implement operational infrastructure and streamline internal workflows.

Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.

Collaborate with leaders in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.

Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.

Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.

Adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.

Qualifications

10+ years in operations role in tech, with 5+ in leadership roles.

Bachelor’s degree

Broad knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, legal, HR, recruiting and employee management.

Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.

Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.

Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.

Strong execution skills, exemplary stakeholder management, excellent communicator.

Strong negotiation skills, exceptional attention to detail, a mindset of getting things done reliably and quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA (or equivalent)

3+ years experience in Strategy Consulting.

Strong curiosity in AI.

Prior experience scaling operations in startup environments.
