Position Overview :
The Data Entry Typist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data entry processes within West Park RN. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage data entry tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and confidentiality.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Input : Accurately enter and update information into various databases and electronic systems.
- Verification : Review data for accuracy and completeness correcting any discrepancies before final submission.
- Record Maintenance : Organize and maintain physical and electronic records to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with data management policies.
- Reporting : Generate reports as needed to support administrative and operational functions.
- Collaboration : Work closely with team members to support data-related projects and initiatives providing assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in data management preferred.Typing Skills : Proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute (WPM).Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Benefits

High School diploma or equivalent required; some college or related credential preferred. Previous experience working in a behavioralhealth psychiatric substanceuse or related facility preferred. Must obtain certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or similar de-escalation training (often required within first 30 days of hire). Excellent interpersonal skills crisisintervention ability and strong observational and documentation skills. Must be at least 21 years old (in some roles) and able to pass required background / criminal checks. Commitment to working flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays (12-hour shifts).
