Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Level II Trauma Center
Level III NICU
Primary Stroke Center
Non-teaching hospital
71 beds, very high acuity, functions like a Level I
Experience Needed :
First-time travelers : At least 1 year in a Level II Trauma ER or higher with Cerner or EPIC experience
Experienced travelers : 2+ years of ER / critical care, with at least 1 recent year in Level II ER with Cerner or EPIC
Patient Mix : Multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB / GYN, pediatrics, psychiatric
Ratios : ER 1 : 4, MS holds 1 : 5, ICU holds 1 : 3
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI / Secure, NIHSS, TNCC
Skills Required : Vent / trach care, ICU drips, chest tubes, art lines, CVLs, PICCs, midlines, ports, Foley, splints, BiPAP / HiFlow, CBI
Technology : Cerner EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell meds, Spacelabs monitors
Schedule :
12-hour shifts : 7a7p, 7p7a, 11a11p, 3p3a
Weekend rotation : every other or 4 per month
Holiday coverage : one major and one minor holiday per policy
4-week schedule cycle
No call
Scrubs : Any solid color
