We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jan 1, 2026. This role involves providing care across all age groups in a fast-paced setting, working day shifts Monday through Sunday, with flexible part-time and full-time scheduling options.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide urgent care services to patients of all agesEvaluate and manage acute illnesses and injuries, including orthopedic procedures such as splintingPerform wound care, suturing, incision and drainage (I&Ds)Conduct X-rays, EKGs, blood draws, IV placement, and injectionsWork independently with no supervisionTravel between assigned sites within a 30-mile radius as requiredUtilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient managementAdditional Information
Must hold an active Pennsylvania state license and DEA registrationMinimum of 2 years' experience in urgent care or 1 year in emergency medicine requiredBoard certification requiredCertifications needed : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Must be comfortable treating pediatric and adult patientsWillingness to consistently work a minimum of 3 shifts per monthDrug screen and background check (completed within the last 12 months) required upon offer acceptanceSubmission of NPDB self-query (no more than 30 days old) required during applicationBenefits
