Job Details – Texas Emergency Nursing Jobs Location : Richardson, TX 75082 (Dallas metro area) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (43 rooms, daily census ~150) Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend and Holiday Coverage : Required Orientation : 24 hours Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1730 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (AHA preferred; military acceptable) Proficiency with Epic charting system required Preferred : Charge nurse experience and Trauma Level II experience Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to provide emergency care for all age groups : infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations Perform triage, assessment, and rapid interventions for critical patients Administer emergency medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced procedures (chest tube insertion, intubation, arterial line management) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Support patients and families during acute medical events and trauma Participate in self-scheduling and maintain a patient ratio of 4 : 1 Discover rewarding Texas nursing jobs in Richardson, TX—a welcoming community with excellent schools and easy access to Dallas.
