This is a rare opportunity to be one of the early hires at a mission-driven startup that is entering a promising growth phase with ~$15M raised to-date (VCs, US DOE (ARPA-E), CEC, etc.), regulations recently changed in 3 states, and deployment poised to 5-11x in the next 2 years. Role : As the Project Engineer, you’ll translate site-specific conditions into design modifications, coordinate contractors, and ensure successful deployments from evaluation through operations. This is a highly dynamic, field-oriented role at the intersection of engineering, construction, and project execution. As part of a high-growth startup, you will be challenged to rapidly expand your skillset, with ample opportunity to grow into a leadership role.

Responsibilities :

• Thorough characterization of existing infrastructure at potential installation sites to refine designs, installation procedures, and inform site selection
• Technoeconomic modeling to optimize site selection and design selection
• Streamlining the site evaluation process to prepare for future rapid deployments
• Operations and maintenance of installed devices as needed
• Managing contractors / consultants as needed
• Travel to vendors, customers, and installation sites (15-30%)
