We have an opportunity for an Indirect Buyer to join the Team at our Fishers, Indiana facility. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing non-car related goods (indirect) and services for various stakeholders across the company. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. • End to end purchase of indirect goods and services and proactive communication with all relevant stakeholders to achieve the most effective procurement
• Prepare commercial specifications for proposal requests and arrange and facilitate meetings between stakeholders and suppliers when required
• Request quotations and negotiate optimum value with suppliers and review proposals and provide summary documentation to stakeholders
• Award orders with agreement from the relative stakeholders and manage all documentation for purchases including the raising of purchase orders
• To report any delivery exceptions to stakeholders in a timely manner to manage expectations and liaise between suppliers and stakeholders to resolve any supply issues
• Assist with invoice discrepancies when required and ensure compliance with purchasing and finance policies and develop a thorough working knowledge of the company’s ERP system and contribute to its ongoing development
