LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgery PA in Springfield, Ohio, 45504!

Pay Information

$120 to $130 per hour

About The Position

Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Springfield, OH Facility.
The PA will work closely with the cardiovascular surgeon, manage adult and geriatric patients, and coordinate perioperative and inpatient care.
Surgical assistance is not required, but strong experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery or Critical Care is essential.

Job Responsibilities :

Report directly to the Cardiovascular Surgeon

Manage and round on 5–10 patients per day

Coordinate patient care across surgical and critical care services

Write prescriptions and manage medication plans

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Perform procedures within scope (excluding retrieval of vascular tissues)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize outcomes

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry

Job Requirements

Board Certified PA-C – Required

ACLS certification – Required

Ohio State License – Preferred (must be able to obtain quickly if not already licensed)

COVID vaccination – Required

Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery experience preferred; Critical Care experience acceptable

No new graduates considered

Willing to consider Surgical Nurse Practitioner candidates
