Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities :

• Ensure on-time delivery at the agreed negotiated price with required quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to ensure accurate retention of records.
• Serve as a primary liaison between the company and select suppliers to establish, maintain, and enhance effective business relationships.
• Work with strategic sourcing to develop and implement supply chain strategies that achieve quality, cost, and delivery performance objectives.
• Manage necessary trade and logistics related requirements to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Support Purchasing, Materials, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Product Management as needed for the accurate and timely set-up of parts and suppliers in support of new product introductions.
• Support the Purchasing Department in processing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) efficiently and accurately for both existing and new products.
• Support the data collection, analysis, and implementation of critical sourcing and supply chain initiatives, including Kanban, supplier managed inventory programs, and pull systems.
• Contribute to setting and achieving overall department policies, KPIs, and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment :

Work is conducted in an office setting, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, based in Hazelwood.

This is a Contract position based out of Hazelwood, MO.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
