About the Role

We're looking for a proven leader to join our team as Director, Client Success. In this role, you will focus on delivering best-in-class service to Element's Clients. This leader will oversee a team of ~80 professionals dedicated to ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes while using Element's products and services. The function of Client Success is proactive and strategic, focused on long-term partnerships. This team is a critical driver of Client satisfaction, retention, and growth, ensuring that Element's service exceeds client expectations and achieves their key outcomes.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead a team of ~80 client service professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client priorities.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Support employee growth & development to ensure employee engagement and retention.
  • Support organizational growth through strategic resource management & workload distribution

Service Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee execution of service delivery for a portfolio of client fleets, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate a culture of proactive engagement to minimize client disruption, ensure seamless issue resolution, strengthen client relationships, and ensure client retention.
  • Ensure performance measurements (Internal & External) meet or exceed expectations.
  • Instill a client-centric culture that prioritizes value realization and delivering an exception client experience.
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Actively participate in governance forums to address high-impact issues and develop actionable solutions.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging insights, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Strategic Client Partnerships

  • Develop strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Collaborate to ensure maximum value realization of products and services and recommend solutions focused on driving outcomes aligned to clients key objectives.
  • Engage in service recovery efforts to ensure swift resolution and client satisfaction / validation of solution.
  • Provide Voice of Client perspective to enhance products and services as well as Element's ways of working, ensuring an elevated client experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years in client success or service delivery, preferably within B2B, automotive, financial services, or fleet management.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams (50+), with a track record of meeting and exceeding.
  • Strong understanding of B2B client servicing, fleet management, leasing, or transportation industries.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with enterprise clients, driving client satisfaction and retention.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments, driving strategic decisions based on data and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, operational efficiency, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with technologies that support business strategies and objectives.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Education- Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Location : Hopkins, MN

    The hiring base salary range for this position is $124,600 to $171,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
