Full-Time Contract | 4x10 Schedule | No Call | EPIC EMR

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing Urgent Care locum assignment in La Grande, Oregon . This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call, and a supportive clinical environment backed by an established community hospital system.

Assignment Details

Location : La Grande, Oregon

Setting : Outpatient Urgent Care Clinic

Start Date : January 19, 2026

Schedule : Monday–Thursday | 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (4x10s)

Duration : 4+ months, with potential for ongoing extension

Contract Type : Locum Tenens

EMR : Epic

Practice Environment

6 total exam rooms, including :

1 procedure room

2 isolation rooms

1 dedicated pediatric room

Average Volume : 20–40 patients per day

Support Staff : 2–3 clinical staff per shift (mix of RNs and CMAs)

Medical Oversight : Collaborative support available via phone, Epic, and email from the Medical Director

Patient Population : All ages

Candidate Requirements

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience required (no new grads)

Licensure : Active and unrestricted Oregon NP license & DEA

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Skills : Independent decision-making, suturing, I&D, splinting, and comfort with broad-spectrum urgent care presentations
