Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator with a minimum of five years of experience in the glass and glazing industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive project experience across a range of glazing systems and applications, producing accurate, competitive bids that align with client expectations and company capabilities. This is an on-site role in Orlando, FL, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial glass and glazing projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and addenda to determine scope and requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure estimates align with operational capabilities.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations as required.
- Maintain and update historical cost data to improve future estimating accuracy.
- Ensure bids are submitted on time with complete and accurate documentation.
