Job Summary :
As a product manager, you will work closely with engineering, marketing, design, and sales teams to drive prioritization and delivery of the product roadmap in order to meet Neumo's business objectives. You’ll often focus on market analysis, positioning, customer research, quantitative analysis, and client feedback to inform design and ensure our products meet the needs of Neumo's clients and prospects. You’ll translate all this into effective initiatives and help execute on bringing those stories to life along with partners in engineering and marketing.
You will have the opportunity to wear several hats, and you should be comfortable learning new things and taking on new responsibilities. You’ll spearhead strategic initiatives. You won’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves and do the work to turn your concepts into reality.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Managing the product lifecycle from market research to product definition and go-to-market strategy
- Developing the long-term product vision and connecting it with the near-term planning to align resources. Near-term needs must be balanced with long-term product evolution
- Becoming fluently familiar with the needs of your market, clients, and end users. This means staying on top of market research as well as getting out into the field yourself for first-hand experience
- Serving as the central point of contact between multiple groups (e.g. sales, client success, implementations, and engineering) and collaborating to resolve conflicting interests to move the product forward
- Prioritizing your product’s roadmap based on both quantitative and qualitative data and supporting your decisions to internal and external stakeholders
- Gathering, defining, and communicating feature requirements by writing high-quality initiatives and epics (and user stories as required) and in partnership with engineering, architecture, and design
- Working directly with UX to build user research on early prototypes of design to determine the right way to deliver solutions, engage with community and user groups on ideation
- Serving as product evangelist, while effectively representing the achievements of the product, the sales team and the opportunity ahead
- Achieve a clear understanding of the costs of your solution and the pricing opportunities and levers available in the market, including with cross-sell and adjacent markets
- Drive a partnership ecosystem to maximize revenue with our channel and strategic partner market leaders
- Communicate and support readiness activities across the companies for launch

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience3+ years experience in product management (B2B software experience preferred)2+ years experience being technical or technically conversant working with platform technologies and platform teams that are dependent on vertically integrated productsRequired Experience with platform services in a SaaS and SaaS adjacent modelRequired Experience with Payments as a service at scale, including processor relationships, funding flows, boarding & settlementDesired Experience working with PCI complianceDemonstrated experience in building business cases, understanding cost and pricing structures a plusExperience in government technology at the state and local level highly preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Proven track record of shipping software products that deliver business resultsDemonstrated ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problemsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and accurate mannerProcess, problem-solving, strategic, and continuous improvement mindsetDemonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with stakeholdersAbility to influence without direct management authorityAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentBachelor’s degree requiredWillingness to travel up to 40%Work Environment :
