Position Overview :
We are seeking four dedicated and enthusiastic School-Based Occupational Therapists (OT) for full-time positions in Tucson, AZ.
These positions are available from ASAP through the Extended School Year (ESY) program. You will be responsible for a caseload of 45 students with direct services, covering 5-8 schools.
In addition to direct services, you will provide essential support to school personnel, conduct observations, evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and fulfill all other School-based OT responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Conduct observations, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs.
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Offer consultation to school personnel to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of services provided.
Qualifications :
- Active Arizona state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with school-based OT is a plus.
- Ability to support multiple schools and manage a caseload of 45 students.
