Accounts Receivable (A / R) Specialist

Robert Half has an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A / R) Specialist! Responsibilities of this position include : enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A / R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G / L. This is a long-term contract position with a mid-sized company in Shoreview.

Confirm documents and codes

Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts

Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

Process payments and reports in compliance with GAAP

Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

Requirements

AA or BS / BA in Accounting preferred

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Entry-level applicants considered

Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

Solid understanding of account analysis

Microsoft Excel experience
