Overview :
Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a company that essentially takes millions of pounds of cardboard (anything you would get from amazon, or any corrugated box you get from an online order) breaks down those materials down to its forged fiber & upcycles it into clean, sustainable and high performing materials that are utilized in the construction & furniture industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including multi-plant or corporate-level oversight.
- Proven success leading new plant launches, facility expansions, or large-scale production start-ups.
- Experience as a Plant Manager or Operations Director with track record of meeting production, cost, safety, and quality targets.
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, production scheduling, supply chain dependencies, and workforce management.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other operational efficiency methodologies.
- Skilled in leadership development, team building, coaching, and managing leaders at multiple levels.
Responsibilities :
Provide executive leadership over all manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, safety, logistics, and continuous improvement across one or multiple facilities.Lead new plant startups, including facility launch planning, equipment installation, staffing, workforce training, production ramp-up, supplier onboarding, budgets, and operational readiness.Oversee daily plant operations to meet production targets, delivery schedules, profitability goals, and customer quality expectations.Develop and implement operational strategy, long-term planning, KPIs, cost controls, and resource allocation to support growth and operational excellence.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other methodologies to increase throughput, reduce waste, lower costs, and improve equipment uptime.Align operations with corporate goals through strong partnerships with engineering, HR, supply chain, quality, finance, and executive leadership.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning for equipment upgrades, technology improvements, and facility expansion projects.Create and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company safety policies.If interested in this opportunity, we are currently scheduling interviews — apply now and we can get you scheduled!
