The opportunity

A leading independent data infrastructure developer is scaling operations across two major Upstate New York sites. The role supports design, optimization, and safeguarding of mission-critical data operationsfrom grid connection to distribution and protection systems.

The role

You will own electrical systems that operate at scale, designing, developing, and maintaining HV / MV distribution networks and protective relaying schemes. You will troubleshoot, test, and enhance systems across multiple data center facilities, collaborating with mechanical, operations, and project teams to drive performance, safety, and reliability.

Scope & responsibilities

• Design and implement high and medium voltage electrical systems for data center applications
• Evaluate and upgrade protective relaying and distribution schemes
• Lead troubleshooting and preventive maintenance efforts across multiple facilities
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless operation
• Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in every project
