Reimbursement Rep

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for managing the billing and remittance responsibilities for all payers.

Job Functions

• Reviews sales orders for accuracy to ensure timely billing.
• Maintains recurrent billings, processes claims, all accounts receivable, and daily ledger of sales.
• Supports Order Specialists as needed regarding reimbursement / insurance criteria coverage.
• Maintains price tables and fee schedules.
• Acts as liaison with all county, waiver, and state aid programs.
• Monitors and tracks all denials.
• Performs chart audits.
• Supports and provides input into organizational and departmental quality improvement plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as : the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
