Description
The IT Tech I position will support the Legends Bay Casino end users in all property-approved software applications. This position reports to the Regional Manager of IT and the Regional Vice President of IT. The role involves assisting users with desktop and network applications in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Assist users with desktop and network applications.
- Respond to help calls and ensure support requests are handled or escalated promptly.
- Complete shift tasks, meet timelines, schedule jobs, and document completion.
- Maintain the computer / equipment room at prescribed temperature and cleanliness.
- Add and remove users from systems following procedures.
- Notify management of security gaps, violations, or critical issues.
- Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including servers, switches, wiring, and mail applications.
- Maintain confidentiality of company records and information.
- Provide status reports on projects outside normal operations.
- Adhere to regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED required.At least 3 years of helpdesk, network, or desktop support experience.Experience in a casino, hotel, or technical support environment preferred.Additional Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure positively.Technical skills to understand documentation and document procedures.Required Work Cards
Registration with Gaming Control Board.Tools and Software
Microsoft Office, Desktop OS systems, SQL Server, Office 365, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare). Knowledge of these is a plus.Seniority Level
