Yard Worker "TROPICANA LOCATION"
Yard Workers are important members of the Star Nursery team. They provide outstanding customer services and sales assistance to customers. They answer customers' questions, recommend products / materials & provide a safe working / shopping environment. They provide general plant upkeep & quality control and work outside in yard area of our stores.
Job Description :
- Follows operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time service
- Follows policies in the areas of operations techniques, materials usage.
- Loading and unloading plant material
- Operating a forklift
- Product quality control
- Product knowledge & Plant maintenance (watering, cleaning, pruning)
- Stocking & Labeling
- Store upkeep
- Receiving, Stocking & Moving Merchandise
- Performs other related duties as assigned
