Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

Role Description
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and optimizing our organization's computer systems, networks, and servers. This role provides essential support to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our IT infrastructure. What You'll Do
System Maintenance and Support : Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and functionality.Network Management : Help manage and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Assist in maintaining network security protocols and access controlsUser Support : Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts, email, and access permissions in systems like Active DirectoryData Management : Assist in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions. Perform routine data backups and ensure data integrity.Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Prepare reports on system performance and incident resolutionsSecurity : Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies and protocols. Monitor system logs for security breaches and unauthorized access.Perform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and optimizing our organization's computer systems, networks, and servers.Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Technical Skills : Strong understanding of computer systems, networking concepts, and IT infrastructure. Familiarity with Windows operating systems. Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Troubleshooting : Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software issues.Soft Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
