The Asset Optimization Representative plays a critical role in the Asset Division and trailer strategy of ITS. This role is dedicated to maintaining a healthy trailer network with a hyper focus on efficiency. Reporting up through the Senior Vice President of Assets, this role has an immediate impact on the overall performance of transportation operations and maximizing the ITS trailer network.

Cost Reduction :

• Analyze the ITS trailer network daily to identify and minimize empty moves and load outs.
• Work directly with Production teams to pair lanes based on criteria such as cost, transit, optimized trailer utilization, reduction of empty miles, and elimination of empty move cost.
• Report trailer backhaul needs to leadership and the commercial team on a weekly basis.
• Track and measure impact of changes in cost, empty miles, and overall network efficiency.
• Work closely with the technology team to make product recommendations and enhancements for trailer optimization.
