The Role
As the Operations and Training Manager , you will :
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver world-class service, drive sales, and build loyal client relationships.
- Balance sales and service by ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Own and oversee all aspects of People, Clients, Product, Piercing / Safety, Space, and Operations to create an exceptional shopping experience.
- Develop and manage performance of the retail team, providing coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities.
- Uphold brand standards , ensuring visual presentation, operations, and customer service reflect BURDLIFE’s elevated identity.
- Create moments and manage events. This is a fast paced store and booking events is the crucial part of your job.
- Hiring and Training is crucial part of your job. You will be traveling and making sure all our stores and employees are trained and following the correct protocol.
- Ensure all permits and processes are done correctly.
- Lead with opening stores and managing the staffing responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily store / business operations and foster a customer-first culture within the team and training.Drive sales goals, analyze KPIs, and implement strategies to meet revenue targets.Recruit, train, and motivate staff to perform at their highest potential.Deliver exceptional service and resolve escalated client issues with professionalism & train the managers to do the same.Oversee inventory management, loss prevention, and cash handling.Maintain piercing / welding station safety, cleanliness, and compliance.Partner with HQ for marketing campaigns, product launches, and events.Represent BURDLIFE with personal style that aligns with the brand’s modern, trend-forward aesthetic.Opportunity to join BURDLIFE’s Piercing Apprenticeship Program (1-year commitment), advancing into leading piercings in-store.The Qualifications
The Operations and Training Manager has :
Proven experience in store management or retail leadership (jewelry, fashion, or beauty preferred).Strong skills in sales, clienteling, and team leadership.Knowledge of retail operations, inventory systems, and loss prevention.Commitment to continuously learn and develop, while inspiring growth in others.The ability to set clear objectives, hold accountability, and motivate a team to exceed expectations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A great sense of style and personal presentation that represents BURDLIFE’s aesthetic.Flexible availability, including weekends and events.Flexible with traveling and help maintain the team.Jump in when short on staff and be able to work in the stores to continue daily operations.Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.Perks & Compensation
