Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care.

The nurse will be caring for patients with various post-surgical needs.

Patient types include HPB patients, women’s surgery, and plastic surgery cases.

The patient-to-nurse ratio will typically be 1 : 4-6, with potential surge times of 1 : 7-8.

Required skills include drain care, central line management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Knowledge of G / J tubes, heparin, and cardiac medication management is essential.

Telemetry monitoring and support from a charge nurse will be available.

CNA support for standard patient care tasks will also be present.

Strong teamwork and collaboration within the unit are emphasized.

Weekend rotation and holiday expectations apply.

This position requires a commitment to maintaining patient safety and providing high-quality care.
