Parts & Warehouse Worker
Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials; optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools / vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and / or elevator. Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. Picks, packs, and ships materials and products. Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise. Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. Participates in quality improvement efforts. Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports.
Skills, knowledge, and expertise include familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Forklift certified. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities. Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customer. Ability to follow established policies and procedures with a safety-first attitude. Broad level of safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. A top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in themselves and in others. Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software; SAP experience preferred.
