Job descriptionJourneyman License in Oregon / Washington Knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations Experience as an electrician in residential, commercial and / or industrial settings Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings Knowledge of low voltage systems Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid Driver's License with a good driving record Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to determine electrical needs and specifications for construction projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment Install and maintain electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety of components Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations while working on job sites this position may require additional responsibilities not listed here.
