Senior Director (Product) - Digital Ecosystem Growth
Microsoft AI Monetization is a customer‑first organization dedicated to building the next generation of AI‑powered products that serve our customers’ business goals.
About The Role
We’re building a foundational platform that empowers digital businesses to thrive in the evolving human + agentic internet. The platform brings together creation tools, acquisition (SEO→AEO), conversational engagement, monetization, and a shared intelligence layer so publishers can operate more efficiently and grow more sustainably.
As a Senior Director (Product) - Digital Ecosystem Growth, you will define the vision, set priorities, and orchestrate execution across multiple product lines and partner teams. You will operate at the intersection of AI‑driven transformation, ecosystem health, and monetization innovation, ensuring our solutions scale globally and deliver measurable impact for partners and Microsoft. This is a senior, highly cross‑functional role ideal for a systems thinker who can translate a bold vision into a clear, multi‑year roadmap—and ship it.
Responsibilities
Define the end‑to‑end product strategy that unifies creation, acquisition, engagement, and monetization, underpinned by intelligence (measurement, experimentation, forecasting) and ecosystem collaboration (onboarding, partner tools).
Align senior leaders and peers across analytics, monetization, web / agent experiences, and partner programs to drive robust execution toward a customer goal. Drive a rigorous build‑vs‑buy‑vs‑partner framework and land decisions that balance speed with long‑term ecosystem health.
Reduce operating cost and complexity for publishers while opening new, durable revenue paths (ads, subscriptions, commerce, licensing / affiliates). Establish clear transparency, attribution, and governance primitives that put consumer experience first.
Define platform‑level metrics and experiment loops (partner growth, efficiency gains, engagement quality, monetization diversity, satisfaction). Integrate them into product reviews and investment planning.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years experience in product / service / program management or software development or equivalent experience.
10+ years of product management, including substantial platform or ecosystem ownership (APIs, shared services, standards) at scale.

Track record shipping cross‑team or cross‑company initiatives that required alignment across engineering, data / ML, design, business, and partner teams.
5+ years of working with experimentation, optimization, or machine learning systems.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA and / or strategy consulting experience.
Domain experience in web publishers / digital media or adjacent areas (analytics, SEO / AEO, ads / monetization, subscriptions / commerce, or conversational / agentic experiences).
Solid product strategy and execution skills—clear roadmaps, crisp prioritization, metrics / experimentation rigor, and excellent written / spoken communication to executive audiences.
Track record of driving measurable business outcomes through product strategy.
