Responsibilities Position is based in an acute care hospital on a 10-bed Med / Surg unit Provides care to general medical-surgical patients in a Level 1 trauma center Nurse-to-patient ratio is 5 : 1 on days and 6 : 1 on nights Uses EPIC EMR, AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry equipment 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required Floating to other Med / Surg units at any Fargo campus may be required Responsible for collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Must demonstrate competency across all age groups and patient populations served on the unit Returning travelers must have ended their previous employment at any Sanford Health location at least 6 months prior to consideration Navy blue scrubs are required for this position All clinicians must badge in and out upon arrival and departure from the facility Requirements Active ND or compact state RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience required Experience in hospitals with at least 250 beds and at a Level 2 or higher trauma center is mandatory Experience with EPIC EMR is required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Applicants must not have a permanent address within 60 miles of the facility; local pay applies for those 61-80 miles away Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628919.
