AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for a Design Engineer to join our Green Harvesting Team in Hesston, KS. This Design Engineer position will report to the Green Harvesting Current Products Engineering Manager. The purpose of this position is to support current hay tool product designs.
Your Impact
Develop and implement design improvements to existing products, while managing configuration and design variations.
Organize and lead cross-functional design reviews to ensure alignment and effective communication of design changes.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to enhance the manufacturability and efficiency of product designs.
Support new designs through lab and field validation, including hands-on issue resolution and component fit-up on AG machines.
Be available for travel within the U.S. and internationally as needed to support engineering and product development activities.
Your Experience and qualifications
Demonstrated design experience in engineering, including implementation, testing, and validation of component / product designs, with strong hands-on capabilities and mechanical aptitude for developing product improvements.
Proficient in creating 3D models using Creo software, and skilled in using Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for documentation and communication.
Experienced working with Ag Harvesting Equipment, with a high attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
Capable of thriving in a diverse and dynamic work environment, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively while maintaining a positive work attitude.
Strong design ability with a focus on quality, and the flexibility to adapt to various team settings and engineering challenges
