Travel RN - Med / Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med / Surg RN for a Level I trauma acute care hospital, requiring an active IL RN license and proficiency in IV and PICC management.

Job Details

• Work in an acute care hospital on a Medical Surgical unit,
• Level I trauma center and Magnet-recognized facility,
• Shift options include 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts, 6 : 45 am to 7 : 15 pm,
• Care for a variety of medical-surgical patients, including those with trach and laryngectomy,
• Typical ratios up to 1 : 7 if necessary, though not common,
• Every other weekend is required; scheduling may adjust based on approved time off,
• Floating is required within the hospital and to affiliated hospitals as needed,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is preferred,
