Job descriptionStrong background in project development, M&A, and / or project finance (renewables preferred) 6+ years legal experience (law firm or in-house) JD qualified Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
We have partnered with a leading IPP on a search for a senior legal counsel who will provide broad legal support for solar and renewable energy projects, M&A financing, and corporate governance.
Responsibilities -
- Advise on project developments, acquisitions, financings, and commercial matters
- Draft, review and negotiate project and corporate agreements (offtake, site control, EPC, service agreements)
- Manage due diligence on development assets and M&A targets
- Support policy, risk management and compliance initiatives
