Senior Buyer

Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Senior Buyer to join a dynamic retail client where your strategic insight and creativity directly influence growth. In this role, you’ll lead category management, assortment planning, supplier negotiations, and pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability across an extensive product portfolio.

Location : Smyrna, GA

Onsite : Hybrid

Job Type : permanent, direct hire

Pay : $130,000 - $150,000 annually + bonus

What You’ll Do :

• Develop and execute category strategies that deliver strong sales and margin results.

Manage product lifecycle, inventory levels, and vendor relationships.

Analyze trends and data to guide product innovation, promotions, and pricing.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure merchandising excellence and operational alignment.

What You’ll Bring :

Bachelor’s degree required.

3–5+ years in a

Senior Buyer role with purchasing and procurement experience.

Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and drive product innovation.

Strong analytical, Excel, and project management skills.

Experience in omnichannel or retail environments preferred.
