Job descriptionInterview, hire, and train high‑performing sales team members . Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Foster a collaborative and high‑energy team culture that drives results. Handle all aspects of account management , ensuring smooth solicitation and closing processes. Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution. Travel locally for sales calls, client meetings, and competitor analysis . Represent the hotel at trade shows , setting up exhibits and engaging potential clients. Develop and deliver persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and client updates . Maintain clear and open communication with both clients and internal teams. Comply with company attendance and availability requirements . The first 40 hours are paid at the regular hourly rate . The additional 5 hours are paid at 1.5x overtime rate . 9 Paid Holidays per year 2 weeks of vacation accrued on the date of hire (eligible to use after 6 months) 401(k) with up to a 50% match on an 8% contribution Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment $75 monthly phone reimbursement $104 monthly commuter benefit A strong networker with established industry relationships. Exceptional sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage accounts, close deals, and drive revenue growth. A collaborative leader who can train, mentor, and motivate a team. Location and Compensation
Location : On‑site at The Marker, 501 Geary Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.
Schedule : 45‑hour workweek (Overtime Eligible).
Salary Range : $105,000 – $125,000 annually ($42.51 – $50.60 per hour).

This role is pivotal in driving group sales, building strong client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities . Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Client Engagement
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel through compelling sales presentations and written proposals.
- Conduct on‑site property tours for potential clients to showcase our offerings.
- Manage and develop relationships with past, current, and prospective clients to generate repeat and new business.
