Housekeeping & Sanitation – Ring Container Technologies

Join our team as a 1st shift Janitor / Sanitor. Hours are 6 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 00 p.m., Sunday to Thursday.

Job Purpose

Cleans offices and other assigned areas using appropriate equipment and maintains plant housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Vacuums offices daily.
• Dusts, cleans windows and glass doors as required.
• Cleans and maintains all restrooms daily.
• Cleans employee break room, empties garbage daily or as required.
• Maintains adequate supply of cleaning and sanitary supplies; notifies Administrative Assistant of the need to reorder.
• Cleans compressor room as needed or instructed.
• Cleans dock area and parking lot as needed or instructed.
• May perform production duties when time is available.
• May be requested to move furniture, transport office supplies from one area to another, etc.

Special Equipment Or Other Requirements

Use vacuum cleaner and any other necessary cleaning equipment.

Sanitation

Perform work and maintain documentation to keep a facility clean and sanitary, ensuring that it meets health and safety regulations, food safety and company standards.

Experience, Educational And Technical Qualifications

Must be able to follow verbal and / or written instructions.

Abilities

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Physical activities include : standing, walking, climbing, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently), bending, crouching, and other movements as described. Environmental conditions include inside / outside work, potential exposure to heat, noise, chemicals, fumes, and other hazards.
