Associate, Trading

Job Duties : Associate, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Responsible for executing trades in asset classes such as bonds, foreign exchange, and interest rate derivatives. Responsibilities may include managing risk of related books, and building relationships with external counterparties, operations, and engineering. Work with internal and external counterparties to achieve best execution for the firm. Work with senior team members to create risk management strategies. Develop internal presentations for discussion of strategy and risk. Work with control side personnel during execution to ensure transaction approval and support. Conduct in-depth market analysis. Manage ongoing risks post-execution.

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with the following : conducting quantitative analysis on complex trading products, including working with probability weighted outcomes and applying this analysis to manage risk; presenting investment theses and risk analysis to senior leaders; liaising with internal and external counterparties to source risk and securities to achieve optimal execution across fixed income products; performing historical analysis, back-testing, and regressions using market data and Python to create support for trade ideas; interpreting firm liability data, liquidity metrics, and pricing data to manage market risk while operating within the parameters of internal controls and regulatory guidelines; and developing and building automated analytics and reports in Python to enhance desk reporting, trading, and operational processes.

Salary Range : Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $97,000-$155,000. Minimum Salary : 97,000 Maximum Salary : 155,000 Salary Unit : Yearly
