As a Security Officer Chemical Access Control in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter unauthorized activity. You will remain highly visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, and you will be required to meet all Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering restricted areas.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or site management.Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in accordance with client requirements and regulatory guidelines specific to chemical and petrochemical locations.What We're Looking For :

A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.A valid driver's license in the job state that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions.Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
