The Opportunity
The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for the Treasury functions for VELERA. The incumbent will be the primary owner of all short and long-term cash flow models, analyses, investments and reporting of VELERA's daily / monthly cash position. The individual will assist the manager in providing guidance and managerial advice to the all levels of management regarding corporate cash and financing strategies. This individual will be responsible for administering Visa / MC contract and calculation / collection of +$45M in incentives and also the primary owner of budgeting and forecasting of Visa / MC sales volumes, lockbox, pass-through revenue and expenses. Also provides oversight to the monthly close and reconciliation process for Treasury Operations.
Day in the Life
- Manage, analyze, review, compile and create the daily, monthly and future year cash flow models of VELERA to ensure that senior management has accurate data to make current and long term critical business decisions.
- Manage and analyze the daily, monthly and long-term cash flow models for the purpose of assisting in the investing of excess funds in authorized instruments in order to maximize investment yield while maintaining safety and soundness according to policies set by the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for maintaining banking relationships, and work with them on process improvements and investment opportunities.
- Ensuring investments are recorded properly in accordance with GAAP.
- Quarterly reporting on the financial health of our banking relationships to ensure we are in compliance with our investment policy.
- Create Board of Director presentations and any other internal presentations on various aspects within Treasury.
- Responsible for administering Line of Credit $250M to ensure that VELERA is aligned with both affirmative and negative covenants to insure there is no evidence of default in our loan documents.
- Managing the quarterly compliance certificate and assist manager in taking advantage of the one-time items add backs to EBITDA which will be taking into consideration for company valuation.
- Audit Treasury functions including general ledger posting, explanations and bank confirmations.
- Develop and maintain documentation of all processes that within the Treasury organization.
- Management of our corporate card program and work on process improvements that will ensure ease of use for our employees.

- Assist management leadership in closing general ledger on a monthly basis; research and resolve complex and critical issues involving departmental processes and procedures.
- Planning / Forecasting of Investment Income, Interest Expense and other items manager is currently resides with manager.
- Ensuring proper billing of pass-thru revenue and suspense account activity.
- Assist manager with +$45M Visa / MC incentive calculation, forecasting along with ensuring we maintaining contract requirements, support Vendor Mgmt. group.
- Maintain Quality Assurance through review of procedures and practices, and execute process improvements to minimize financial liability.
- Interact professionally with VELERA external / internal customers e.g (Visa / MC, FIs, corporate card users ) in order to continuously improve service standards and ongoing relations.
- Provide support to the Accounting team and outside auditing firm in the annual audit.
- NCUA reporting of all companies (revenue / equity)
- Navan Travel & Expense platform administrator
- T&E variance reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.Two years experience in either Accounting or general Financial operations, General knowledge of investment / cash flow and 3 years Industry Knowledge.Must have experience in data mining, data warehouse, Access, Excel and Reporting.About Velera

Pay Equity
$67,700.00 - $86,300.00 Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
