An Oncology Clinic in Auburn, WA is looking for an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to provide immediate support to their daily operations. The Scheduling Coordinator in the Oncology Clinic is responsible for providing coordination of the provider's clinic, procedure, and infusion schedules.

Overview :

• Provides professional front office support to the Hematology / Oncology department, ensuring patients and clients are greeted and assisted in a courteous manner
• Greets and electronically checks in patients, updating arrival status per clinic protocol
• Obtains, verifies, and updates patient registration details including demographics and insurance; communicates changes to appropriate staff
• Schedules complex appointments involving providers, imaging, labs, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other concurrent therapies by coordinating with physicians, clinic staff, and departments
• Coordinates and schedules pre- and post-procedure appointments for patients
• Manages provider schedules, including CME, vacation, court appearances, depositions, and meetings, using Epic and Microsoft Outlook
• Answers phone calls and in-basket messages promptly; screens for urgency, provides assistance, and forwards messages appropriately while maintaining confidentiality
• Completes required forms, requisitions, and internal communications accurately and efficiently
