Assistant Manager for OASES will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple concepts within the business, including the supervision of Floor Supervisors and staff, financial direction and health of the business, and execute world-class-leading food, beverage and service programs. Must have a strong financial and analytical background with extensive experience in hospitality, service and wellness. Will work closely with managing partner, Restaurant Manager, Head Chef, and ownership to execute strategy and deliver an exceptional product and guest experience. Ideal candidate values attention to detail, is solution oriented, and consistently implements and reinforces operational standards, procedures and systems while improving existing processes / operations. Candidates must liaise with the Managing Partner and General Manager to ensure quality and consistency, while maintaining a positive floor presence that inspires exceptional hospitality and service.
Essential functions include but are not limited to :
- Assist in managing daily front-of-house (FOH) operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Monitor service flow and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Support wine and bar programs, including inventory checks, ordering assistance, and staff training on beverage service.
- Collaborate on new cocktail R&D and ensure proper execution during service.
- Help track inventory levels and restocking needs.
- Assist in implementing cost-control measures and upselling strategies.
- Train and motivate FOH staff to maintain service standards.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and assist with onboarding new hires.
- Foster a positive team environment focused on growth and integrity.
- Engage with guests during service to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and uphold the company’s hospitality standards.
- Assist with payroll preparation and tip distribution.
- Help manage reservations, voicemails, and online reviews.
- Support private event coordination and execution.
- Ensure dining areas, service stations, and equipment remain clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Uphold the company’s aesthetic and operational standards at all times.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS, Resy, Uber Eats, and other restaurant management tools.
- Basic proficiency in Excel and inventory systems.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years experience in full service restaurant management and operationsProven Leadership ability and clear management succession path within hospitalityExperience with scheduling, budgeting, and forecastingKnowledge and experience with various POS systems (Toast, Resy, Uber Eats, etc.)Building SOP and systems experience; ordering, inventory, costing, reservations, memberships, retail strategies, etc.Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.Entrepreneurial attitude and proactive approach to managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.DOH food protection certifiedMUST HAVES :
