Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of delivery driver in our Corona location.
Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries.
We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!
Responsibilities :
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service and answering questions
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
Requirements :
- Valid driver's license issued by the state.
- Clean driving record.
- Some warehouse / driver experience preferred.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Attention to detail.
If you possess a strong work ethic and the desire to learn, experience is not required. We are willing to train those who are career minded .
Compensation :
- Pay is competitive and dependent on experience
