About the Company :
A private equity–backed, high-quality manufacturing organization within the dental and healthcare sector is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to bring structure, insight, and accountability to its growing operations.
This is a high-visibility position that will work directly with ownership and senior leadership to strengthen financial systems, streamline processes, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Position Summary :
The Financial Controller will lead all accounting, finance, and reporting functions—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across the organization. This role reports directly to the President and supports private equity ownership by delivering reliable financial data and analysis to guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting & Reporting :
- Manage month-end and year-end close, prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports, KPIs, and dashboards to leadership and the board.
- Coordinate with the external CPA for audits and tax filings.
- Extract and analyze data from business management software to produce operational and financial insights.
Cash Flow & Operations :
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, collections, and credit management.Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.Process biweekly payroll using an automated system ( Paycom ) while ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws.Manage banking relationships, deposits, disbursements, and reconciliations.Business Analytics & Support :
Provide financial insights, margin analysis, and operational reporting as needed by leadership.Support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and accuracy in financial operations.Compliance & Internal Controls :
Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, payroll regulations, and vendor agreements.Perform other duties as assigned by the President or ownership team.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( CPA or CMA preferred ).8–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing, healthcare, or production environment .Proven ability to manage full accounting cycles and deliver accurate financials under tight timelines.Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (or equivalent ERP) , Excel , and Paycom payroll platforms.Hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable within a dynamic, growing business environment .Prior experience working in a private equity–owned or institutional ownership environment is highly preferred .What We Offer :
