Our product line ranges from all types of conveyor belting, conveying equipment and components, belting accessories, hose and fitting products, plastics, gasket, and power transmission products.

Job Summary :

The Field Service Manager at Belt Power, LLC., will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of conveyor belting systems. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of field service teams, coordinates service schedules, maintains service facilities and equipment, and acts as a liaison between customers, sales, and internal departments. The manager will also lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Field Service Operations

Coordinate service work across assigned geographic regions

  • Confirm service appointments with customers and conduct pre- / post-installation calls
  • Develop and manage install schedules with customer service representatives
  • Review service quotes and actual costs post-installation
  • Enter service documentation and work orders into ERP system
  • Follow up with customers post-service for quality assurance and feedback
  • Ensure technicians maintain full field schedules with minimal office time
  • Team Leadership & Training
  • Train service technicians on installation, maintenance, and repair procedures

  • Develop tiered training programs for technician advancement
  • Oversee administrative activities of technicians and provide necessary training
  • Create and manage on-call schedules to optimize labor and billing
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations
  • Fabrication & Installation Support
  • Operate and oversee use of conveyor belt-slitting machines, vulcanizing presses, and other fabrication tools

  • Perform belt slitting, lacing, vulcanizing, and Thermoweld fabrications
  • Conduct on-site belt installations and ensure proper tracking
  • Support production cell fabrications and record stock changes accurately
  • Requisition supplies and maintain inventory systems
  • Facility & Equipment Management
  • Maintain service vehicles and equipment in safe working condition

  • Ensure garage facilities meet regional service needs
  • Manage make-and-hold inventory and ensure proper housing of materials
  • Present quarterly continuous improvement plans and executes approved strategie
  • Generate and analyze service department KPIs
  • Customer Relations & Installation
  • Build strong relationships with customer maintenance teams to promote service and sales opportunities

  • Collaborating with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to align service strategies
  • Attend weekly huddles to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction with products and services
  • Maintain knowledge of Belt Power products and on-site service capabilities
  • Evaluate and report customer satisfaction metrics
  • Respect, protect, support, company culture.
  • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
  • Required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
  • Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner

  • Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service or inside sales experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems
  • Organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Requirements :

  • Requires excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to acquire and retain extensive product knowledge are required.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Must strive to build positive relationship with customers, sales, and other Belt Power departments.

  • Work Environment :

    Work is generally performed in a fabrication shop environment. The noise level is moderately loud. Generally well-ventilated and well lit. Shop employees may be required to wear protective clothing. Operation of heavy equipment and strict safety regulations are required .

    Physical Demands :

    The Field Service Manager may lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls, tools, and other items used to make adjustments and / or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, install, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.

    Pay Range : $28.00 - $30.00 an hour
