Description :

The role involves working in the operating room environment.

You will work Monday through Friday.

The unit features a two-bed capacity with a patient ratio of 1 : 1.

Staffing includes boards runners, charge nurses, and service line coordinators.

Ancillary assistance is available for room turnovers.

Equipment used includes Belmont systems, ESUs, and positioning equipment.

Documentation is done using Meditech Expanse.

Registered Nurses typically work various shifts during the week.

CSTs will work 7-4 PM from Monday to Thursday and 7-3 PM from Monday to Friday.

There is a floating policy to the main operating rooms as needed.

Direct contact with patients is required, emphasizing excellent communication skills.

Teamwork and problem-solving abilities are crucial for this role.

Candidates should have a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.

The unit participates in open-heart procedures, including CABGs, MVRs, TVRs, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures.

Scrubs will be provided as the required uniform.

Team members are encouraged to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
