Job Title : Remote Sales Engineer / Account Manager - Oil & Gas Metering Products

The company is a leading oilfield equipment manufacturing and service firm headquartered in Houston. The company specializes in providing innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry, with a focus on flow measurement technologies.

They are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a Remote Sales Engineer / Account Manager.

Location :

This position is 100% remote, with regular travel required throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities :

  • Sales and Business Development :
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Technical Support :
  • Serve as a technical expert on our range of oil and gas flow meters.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding product selection, installation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address customer inquiries and resolve technical issues.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy :
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Travel :
  • Travel throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma as needed (approximately 60% of the time) to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales or account management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas flow measurement technologies, particularly flow meters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
