Billing Clerk

Play a critical role in supporting the freight forwarding process and transforming supply chains when you become a Billing Clerk for a global leader in freight forwarding companies in Savannah, GA.

As a Clerk, you will oversee the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances. You will help keep track of money owed and update records with payments.

• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 am-4 : 00 pm. Weekends off

Your New Role :

As a Billing Clerk, you will have a big impact on ensuring containers are tracked and billed correctly. You will track chassis and containers.

You will participate in several weekly conference calls. You must also be available to work on the warehouse floor and help with billing and invoicing.

You'll collect and post payments to customers’ accounts. Record data and collection efforts, balance invoices and update records.

What Y ou N eed :

• 2 years of warehouse & transportation billing experience
• Microsoft experience, specifically EXCEL
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Experience in invoicing, billing, and customer service
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
