Job Summary / Basic Function :
Access and security control of campus doors, utilizing electronic locks, mechanical locks, and ADA operators. Team members are responsible for quick response for repair, installation, and retrofitting old door hardware throughout the campus to maintain safe, secure buildings.

Facilities Operations and Maintenance supports the university's strategic mission by professionally maintaining safe, functional, and attractive facilities and grounds, while also providing quality support services to the campus community.
Level Scope :
Applies skills and job knowledge in the area of specialization; may adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and / or equipment to meet the needs of the area of specialization; may work on non-routine tasks; resolves issues / makes working decisions within the area of specialization or responsibility with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications :
Good knowledge of : office management practices; bookkeeping. Some knowledge of management practices. Experience : interpreting and applying regulations and policies; using computerized system control techniques, including access, security, and accounting / banking; monitoring a budget.
A valid Driver's License.
Low-voltage electrical certification (required for Boise State Facilities).
Preferred Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experience installing various types of door hardware.
Salary and Benefit s :
Salary range is $22.67-$28.33 / hr annually and is commensurate with experience. Boise State University provides a best-in-class benefits package, including (but not limited to) :
