About the Role

This is an entry-level IT position ideal for someone starting their career in tech and eager to gain hands-on experience across various IT functions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Operations Specialist (Contractor) to support the daily operations of our IT department. This role involves computer imaging, legal hold backups, inventory tracking, and maintaining IT imaging and storage areas. What You'll Do

• Image and configure computers to support new hires and hardware replacements
• Support and back up computers subject to legal hold
• Track and manage IT inventory, ensuring accurate asset records
• Maintain and organize the imaging room and IT storage areas
• Monitor and resolve hardware-related tickets in the IT support queue
• Collaborate with IT team members to improve workflows, documentation, and operations

This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting base pay may be above or below this range. Base pay is also just one component of Verkada's total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and / or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
