Overview
Deployment Coordinator (Remote, with candidate preference given to individuals in the Dallas / Fort Worth or Southeast Region due to project locations)
Report to Deployment Manager(s). This is a Contract to Hire opportunity. Travel approximately 10%.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project kickoff and readiness processes
- Schedule and track field resources, including staffing and POs / RFQs
- Interface with project managers, field operations, and support teams to uphold financial and performance KPIs
- Manage quality audits, compliance reporting, and documentation
- Support technician interviews, onboarding, and performance tracking
- Lead project administration, forecasting, and status reporting
- Provide direct field team support and act as an escalation point for issue resolution
- Assist with quoting and proposals for new services
Ideal Candidate Profile
6–8 years of telecom experience and / or a degree in Telecommunications, Engineering Tech, or related fieldExperience in project coordination, field deployments, and resource managementStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsProficient in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook, and able to navigate enterprise systemsHigh level of independence with ability to make decisions at the functional / project levelCustomer-focused with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindsetScope Of Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support : Oversee project kickoff and readiness processes, ensuring technicians are staffed, trained, equipped, and prepared for deployment. Provide timely reporting and office support to drive successful installations within budget and on schedule.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Interface with Services Project Managers, Field Operations Managers, and support teams to facilitate operational efficiencies, uphold financial and performance objectives, and maintain quality standards throughout the installation lifecycle.Operational Excellence & Reporting : Support project deliverables with strong organizational and administrative skills; manage compliance tracking, quality auditing, and resource scheduling with documentation to support continuous improvement.Resource Management : Collaborate with partners and vendors to evaluate RFQs, request POs, and assist in staffing; coordinate with recruiting on technician interviews and onboarding as needed.Customer Satisfaction : Ensure customer expectations are met by providing high-quality office and field support throughout the project lifecycle.Remote Role & Travel : Remote position with occasional travel to support project needs or team coordination.Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee the coordination, planning, and execution of EF&I deployment projects within a defined geographic region, ensuring alignment with schedule, scope, and budgetDetermine project staffing needs and coordinate internal and external resources (hourly or FPQ), including initiating RFQs and POs to meet deployment requirements and financial targetsLead and support Field Service Technicians and Site Leads in achieving project objectives, providing ongoing guidance and performance trackingAct as the primary escalation point for field teams and service partners, resolving issues promptly or escalating as needed to ensure project continuity and customer satisfactionProvide direct interface with customers for updates on progress, adherence to SOW, issue resolution, and scope clarificationMonitor daily project activities and job site progress to maintain budget control and ensure timely, high-quality installationsDeliver administrative updates, including project status reports, resource forecasts, and compliance tracking to Deployment Managers and leadershipLead or contribute to specific project initiatives and interface with internal support groups to meet all deliverablesEvaluate project scope and complexity to identify required resources, tools, and skill sets for successful implementationSupport adherence to technical documentation and quality standards through QA checks and continuous monitoringIdentify and recommend process improvements across field operations, deployment planning, and service deliveryAssist with quoting and proposal development for new service opportunitiesEducation And Experience
AAS or BS degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or Computer ScienceMinimum of 6–8 years of relevant telecommunications experienceDemonstrated knowledge of general business principlesAble to maintain effectiveness in a changing environmentDevelops and maintains working knowledge of installation practices and related processesCandidate Profile
